2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class: Luxury at your fingertips.
July 06 2018, Mercedes-Benz Laval
Mercedes-Benz already offers a decent lineup of affordable vehicles with the GLA, B-Class, and CLA. All three of these models deliver the best of Mercedes-Benz with their refined interiors and state-of-the-art technologies, and they’re all available for less than $40,000. In a few months, Mercedes-Benz will have yet another model to offer its customers within this price range: the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
A unique car.
When you think of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class, you think of its refined, modern style and absolutely perfect proportions. This is the perfect hatchback, both inside and out. This car is truly beautiful and everyone is quick to appreciate its high-end look.
In the cockpit, the presentation is spot on as well. We first notice the presence of luxury materials and fine leathers, but our attention quickly turns to the MBUX device, or Mercedes-Benz User Experience.
This is essentially the new Mercedes-Benz infotainment system. Introduced for the first time in the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, this system allows you to control various functions with simplified voice commands. By using the "Hey, Mercedes" command, we are immediately connected to the car and can use various commands like "It's hot" to adjust the air conditioning.
Ultimately, with MBUX, we adjust the controls by being connected to the car and using voice commands that aren’t more complicated than a simple conversation with friends. In addition, the system is equipped with an artificial intelligence component that allows it to adapt to the preferences of the driver and quickly present the most frequently used functions.
When it comes to power, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will deliver 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque while the trunk is capable of carrying 352 litres. The A-Class is therefore a rather versatile vehicle while also being powerful. Fuel efficiency will no doubt be impressive as well.
