New 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 will start at $58,900

Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the price of the redesigned 2023 Mercedes-Bezn GLC 300 4MATIC SUV, which will be available at an MSRP of $58,900 when it arrives on the market in June 2023.


Multiple Improvements for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC


Mercedes-Benz has significantly upgraded the standard equipment of the new GLC to offer a highly attractive luxury sport utility vehicle right from the start. Alongside the new GLC's enhanced features, the SUV is longer, which offers more trunk space, further enhancing the versatility of what was already one of the most welcoming sport utility vehicles in its class. The new GLC now offers 600 litres of cargo space, 50 more than the previous model.


Enhanced Technology


The new 2023 GLC offers significant improvements in terms of connectivity features as well as off-road driving capability, among many other improved comfort features. The latest generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system makes the GLC even more digital and intelligent with its multiple new features and enhanced voice command capability. The system is now housed in a standard 11.9-inch centre display that is based on the vertical layout found in the new S-Class.


The GLC is designed to cater to both on-road and off-road driving. The 2023 GLC now offers a standard Off-Road mode and DSR (Downhill Speed Regulation) designed to optimize capability off the beaten path. Also, the GLC now features a "transparent engine hood" feature which provides a virtual view under the front of the vehicle that shows obstacles such as stones and potholes early on.


The various packages offered on the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC has been simplified to reduce the effort of choosing from individual options. Customers can still configure their vehicles individually for design options such as paint finish, upholstery, trim, and wheels.


Furthermore, its various package options include Premium, Premium Plus, Intelligent Drive, AMG Line, and AMG Line with Night Package. The package prices range from $2,700 to $3,900. Customers can also opt for additional features such as augmented reality navigation, digital light, and the head-up display as well as as a Burmester 3D Surround Sound System. Advanced safety features such as Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist are offered among a suite of active safety and driving assistance technologies.


Mild-Hybrid Efficiency


The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC now features a lineup of mild-hybrid electrified powertrains. The base 2.0-litre turbo delivers 255 horsepower and an impressive 295 pound-feet of torque, ensuring optimal performance and superior accelerations and passing compared to the previous model. Moreover, the integrated starter-generator can add an additional 23 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque in certain situations. Combine this with the improved aerodynamics (Cd of 0.29) of the new GLC, and buyers get a luxury SUV that is not only more powerful, but also more efficient.


For a sportier look, customers can opt for the AMG Line or AMG Line with Night Package, which includes AMG Body Styling and sporty interior accents. Overall, the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is set to make a lasting impression in the market, giving its customers a comfortable and luxurious driving experience.
