Five Things to Know About the New 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+

Mercedes-Benz now has a large family of electric vehicles, including sedans and SUVs. The entry-level model is a small luxury SUV: the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 +. Here are five things you need to know about this new electric vehicle.

Impressive range

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + impresses on a technical level. It features a 70.5 kWh battery, enabling it to cover up to 394 kilometres on a single charge. Thanks to the 188 horsepower delivered to the front wheels by a front-mounted electric motor, it can reach 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds. The immediacy of power makes driving an electric vehicle a pleasure.

Paddles behind the steering wheel allow the driver to adjust the regeneration force.

Small outside, spacious inside

As you can see from the photos, the Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + is a small SUV. It measures just 4.69 meters in length, making it a practical SUV for city use. On the other hand, it's spacious and cavernous inside. Its trunk can accommodate up to 495 L. That said, it's interesting that this small SUV can be equipped with a third row. As standard, it can accommodate up to five occupants. As an option, a third row of seats can be selected to increase capacity to seven occupants. This extra bench seat could prove very practical for Quebec families.

12,000 in government credits

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + starts at $59,990. It is eligible for a $7,000 electric vehicle subsidy from the Quebec government. For its part, the federal government is enhancing the offer with a $5,000 subsidy. As a result, the Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + is eligible for government subsidies totaling no less than $12,000. It is the only electric vehicle from the brand to be eligible for these subsidies. Financially, the purchase of a Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + is obviously very attractive.

An optimized navigation system

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + is equipped with MBUX technology. This includes an optimized navigation system. In other words, it optimizes the route to be taken to maximize range. It even prepares the battery for recharging.

Mercedes Me Charge

The new Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles come with a one-year Mercedes Me Charge service. Integrated into the Mercedes Connect application, this function enables you to locate charging stations on your route and start charging. On the app, you can read a wide range of information such as charging status, charge level, etc.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 + is one of a wide range of electric vehicles currently on offer from Mercedes-Benz. In addition to its outstanding range, it is particularly attractive because it is eligible for government credits totalling $12,000.
